At Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Elementary School, our vision is to prepare all students to be lifelong learners who will be intrinsically motivated to achieve their goals. The students will be respectful, responsible and possess a positive self-image of themselves, their family  and community.

We will address the emotional and academic needs of our students by providing a nurturing environment that fosters high expectations. Through various instructional programs and strategies such as collaborative learning, thematic units and learning through the arts, our students will become critical thinkers and lifelong learners.
